At the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, national squad shooter Florian Peter competed with a grip specially adapted for him on his rapid fire pistol. In the end he finished the final in a thankless 4th place after narrowly losing the shoot-off for the bronze medal.
With our grip, Florian equalled the existing rapid fire pistol world record of 593 points at the World Cup in Munich on 4 June 2024. He now shares the world record with his teammate Christian Reitz and Korea’s Kim Junhong. Christian Reitz set the world record at the 2013 European Championship in Osijek (CRO). Barely a year later, Kim Junhong equalled it at the 2014 World Cup in Beijing (CHN). It then took 10 years until Florian Peter was able to equal the world record again.
We are of course delighted that Florian is so successful with his CB3D grip.
